Fun Friday: The Hidden Roomba Cabinet
One of my favorite “little luxury” features in kitchen design?
A hidden space for the robot vacuum.
These can be built into:
• pantry cabinetry
• desk areas
• islands
• base cabinets
Not only does it give the vacuum a dedicated home, but it also keeps cords and clutter out of sight while allowing the unit to run automatically.
I sketched out a few ways that can be incorporated into a design — and turned the concepts into visual renderings so you can see how seamlessly they can blend into a space.
Sometimes the best kitchen features are the ones you barely notice… but use every single day.
